Library Media Services
The BMS-Station Library provides a resource-rich environment that empowers students to become effective users of information and technologies, fosters a love of reading, and prepares students for a productive role in a global society. Station's collection consists of more than 16,500 books to fit the needs and interests of students and staff. In addition to our print and digital collections, we offer a variety of research databases that can be accessed from home and school.
The library is open Monday-Friday from 8:30am to 4pm.
There are no overdue fines. Any lost or damaged books will be accounted as such, and fines will be administered. No cash is accepted in the library. Fines will be moved to Infinite Campus at the end of the school year. This gives students and staff time to look for the lost books. If a book is found and returned within 365 days of the book being marked lost, money will be refunded.
Check Out Policy
Students may check out books at any time during the school week.
Books may be kept for three weeks. Books may be renewed if no one has a hold on the book.
Students may have up to three books out on their account at one time. Additional books may be checked out for classroom research projects and assignments as needed.
In order to ensure that all students have equitable access to the library's materials, students are asked to return items by their due date.
Students with overdue items will be allowed to check out new materials once the outstanding items have been returned, renewed, or payment has been made for lost items.
