Meet the Principal

Chad May has been the Principal of Station Middle School since the 2023-24 school year. 

Mr. May is a familiar face at Station. He previously served for many years as the Assistant Principal of Curriculum, Instruction & Student Services. Prior to arriving at Station, he was the Principal at Prairie Grove Jr. High School in Prairie Grove Consolidated School District 47. He started his career in education as a middle school science and English teacher in McHenry School District 15, and also spent time as a middle school Assistant Principal in Lake Zurich Community Unit School District 95. He holds a bachelor's degree in Social Science Education from Illinois State University and a master's degree in Educational Leadership from Aurora University. 

In his free time, Mr. May likes to run, bike and play board games with his family. He is also a fan of the Milwaukee Brewers and Marvel movies.
