About
Barrington Middle School-Station Campus is one of two middle schools in the Barrington 220 School District. Station Campus opened in 1966, on grounds that were once a chicken farm. Previously named “The Barrington Middle School”, it was one of the nation’s first middle school campuses serving grades 6-8. After the creation of Barrington Middle School-Prairie Campus, “The Barrington Middle School”, was renamed “Barrington Middle School - Station Campus”. The name of the school comes from the proximity to the train station and today Station Campus is known for its excellence in education, innovative programs and supportive community.
