Pursuant to School Board Policy 2:150, the Board of Education may establish committees to assist with the Board's governance function and, in some situations, to comply with state law requirements. Each committee reports directly to the Board of Education. Committee members may include both Board Members and non-Board Members depending on the committee's purpose. Committee appointments are made at the organization meeting of the Board that is held following the consolidated election in April of odd-numbered years. Committee meetings are typically held once per month. 

The purpose of the Facilities Committee is to review facility work across the district, guide strategic facility initiatives, and ensure community involvement in the district's facilities processes.

Committee meetings are typically held once per month. The purpose of the Finance Committee is to review the district budget, financial projections and other important financial documents and reports.

All regular Board of Education meetings are held on Tuesday evenings, beginning with a Closed Session at 5:30 p.m., immediately followed by Open Session at 6:30 p.m. Unless otherwise noted, the meetings will take place at the District Administrative Center, 515 West Main Street, Barrington, Illinois. All Board meetings are live-streamed on the Board's YouTube channel

LOCATION: BHS Front Atrium (Lower Level) 

The Barrington 220 Board of Education's 2024 Referendum Advisory Committee will assist the Board in identifying key components to be included in a referendum question proposed for the November 5, 2024 election ballot. The 2024 Referendum Advisory Committee will make a final recommendation to the Board of Education by the June 4, 2024 Board of Education meeting. The final decision of what will be asked on a potential referendum question rests with the Board. If the Board decides to place a referendum question on the November 2024 ballot, it must approve the question in August 2024.

The committee consists of approximately 60 members representing all district attendance areas and grade levels, as well as members of local Barrington community organizations. 

Meetings are open to the public, however, only committee members may vote.

Class schedules and assignments for the upcoming school year will be published in Infinite Campus on Monday, August 5 after 8am. Please note, schedules and class assignments will only be available for families who have completed online registration.

STATION CAMPUS GIRLS SOFTBALL TRYOUTS
Please use this form to register for Station Campus Girls Softball Tryouts, which are open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade girls.

All students must have a current physical on file to participate in tryouts.  Physicals are valid for 13 months.
Please email Nurse Plizga, dplizga@barrington220.org, if you need to verify your physical expiration date.

Tryout Dates:  Monday, August 12th, 2024 (8:00am - 10:00am)
                         Tuesday, August 13th, 2024 (8:00am - 10:00am)

Additional details will be emailed before tryouts begin to all those who register.
